“Punk rock should mean freedom, liking and excepting anything that you like. Playing whatever you want. As sloppy as you want. As long as it's good and it has passion.”
- Kurt Cobain, R.I.P.

Meet Wolfden:
The duo are bound together in this band by the bookworthy stories of their lives. Tim, a war veteran who lived on the street for 2 years met Silke, a rebellious DDR escapee, (before the fall of the Berlin wall) at a concrete factory in southern Germany. Two rocks met at a very hard place. 20 years later they got stuck together due to the Coronavirus lockdown and decided to do Punk because they have both survived the very definition of Punk life. 8 weeks after that decision, the first album "RooM2A1" was done.
Their biggest musical influences in punk or metal are FEAR, the Nina Hagen Band, and traces of Motörhead, Led Zeppelin, and King Diamond/Mercyful Fate.
Wolfden music feels raw, unhinged, and powerful. Lyrically, it's socially and politically critical, extremely direct, and people seem to like that. They have been dubbed "The Bonnie & Clyde of Punk" by fans. With the unique mix of German and English languages, and both of their powerful voices on Lead, they really keep things interesting. "We play and say what we want", they say and for Wolfden, that is the purest definition of Punk.
Alongside the fast and driving rhythms, you'll hear memorable guitar riffs peppered with wild, storytelling solos. They cover you with modern, as well as older topics like: racism, the Ukraine war, the lockdown, population control, passing judgement, broken relationships, government systems they hate, escaping East Germany, the destruction of human life in wars, depression and losing friends, house ghosts and yes, loving someone.
To top it all off, they just got married in July too! Wolfden was just meant to be heard!
"Music, nor words, ever killed anyone."
- Tim Lippert
Fun Fact from Tim:
"This is Silke recording for the song "Get Wasted" back in 2020 for our first album "RooM2A1". True to the songs title, we literally got wasted during this recording. We both sang some unplanned things that ended up being really cool! This song shows our unique style, with both of us singing in our own languages, back and forth, while still rhyming together! It's challenging and fun!"
